The 1975 cult icon film masterpiece, in homeage to the late great Tim Curry
To celebrate Halloween get ready to do the Time Warp again and jump headfirst into the ultimate glam-rock extravaganza! The Rocky Horror Picture Show remains the undisputed crowning jewel of sci-fi musical spoofs, celebrated worldwide as an enduring genre classic for its wildly infectious soundtrack, unapologetic theatricality, and unmatched midnight-movie audience participation.
The story follows squeaky-clean engaged couple Brad and Janet after a late-night flat tyre leads them seeking help at the eerie mansion of Dr Frank-N-Furter, a charismatic alien scientist hosting an extravagant convention to unveil his physical creation, Rocky. Packed with dazzling camp aesthetics, gothic cabaret flair, and electrifying rock 'n' roll numbers, the narrative explores liberating themes of self-expression, identity, and joyfully celebrating life’s fabulous oddities.
Brilliantly anchoring this gloriously chaotic party is a legendary cast featuring the sadly recently passed Tim Curry (IT and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York) who puts in an iconic, star-making turn as Frank-N-Furter. He is ably supported with stellar performances from Susan Sarandon (Thelma & Louise) as Janet and rock giant Meat Loaf (Fight Club) as the rebellious Eddie.
Earning passionate global acclaim as the ultimate cult phenomenon, it proudly holds the record for the longest-running theatrical release in cinema history, making it a delightfully unforgettable masterpiece that continues to thrill generations! Feel free to join in the songs, the dances and fabulousness of the film with other fans this Halloween.
