Fuze

Fuze explodes onto the screen with electrifying intensity, delivering a white-knuckle cinematic ride that barely pauses for breath. Blending action, crime and heist thriller elements it is smart and relentlessly tense, this is a thriller that will grip you from the first spark and never let you go.

Fuze unfolds in contemporary London after an unexploded Second World War bomb is discovered at a busy construction site. As authorities scramble to evacuate the city, a cunning criminal gang seizes the chaos as cover for an audacious bank heist. The film cleverly interweaves bomb disposal urgency with criminal intrigue, creating a ticking-clock narrative packed with twists and moral tension.

At the centre is Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Avengers: Age of Ultron), delivering a commanding turn as a bomb disposal expert. He’s joined by Theo James (Divergent) and Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Belle), both adding charisma and depth. Visually, the film is edgy leaning into gritty realism with kinetic camerawork and tight editing putting you right in the action as it unfolds. The film engages too and you cannot take your eyes off of the action with the story and central characters exploring themes of chaos, opportunism and duty throughout. Premiering to enthusiastic reactions from critics, it has been praised for its pace and edge-of-your-seat thrills, with audiences applauding its relentless energy.

You may enjoy Fuze if you liked The Dark Knight (2008) and Inside Man (2006).
