We are a large singing group for all ages and all abilities. We meet at The Empire for rehearsals every

Tuesday from 7.15 to 9.00pm and hold our annual or twice-yearly performances there. We also get out

and about singing at local community events.

The choir’s aim is to get people singing and provide a force for good in their lives. We are inclusive, and

while we always reach for the highest standards, we want to break down barriers to music. We never ask

new members to be able to read music or to undertake an audition.

We sing a large and varied repertoire including modern and classic pop, folk, rock, spiritual and songs from

well-known musicals. Parts are arranged according to voice type – so we are made up of sopranos, altos

and our invaluable (but few!) men. We also run several social events throughout the year, including those

enjoyed by members’ family and friends too.
