Our headline act is
Terry Alderton, Terry has always been something special. With a set full of extraordinary caricatures – where he famously is interrupted, and with his back turned, battles with his TWO inner voices’ - and some stunningly acute impressions, observations and a hyperactive delivery, stand-up performer Terry Alderton is loved by comics and fans alike. Indeed, top TV comedian Eddie Izzard said of him: “He’s a very funny man with a ‘fantastic comedy mind, but someone who really ought to seek some sort of professional help”.

TV Credits: Live at the Apollo (BBC), Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow (BBC), Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live (Ch4), BBC’s Saturday night Lottery show (BBC) Ian Wright's Friday Night's All Wright’ (ITV), ‘Stupid Punts’ (BBC2), The Stand UP Show (BBC1) The World Stands Up (paramount) World Comedy Tour Australia (paramount) The Comedy Store (Channel 5) Jack Dee’s Sunday Service. Bring me the head of light entertainment (CH5). The Harry Hill Show (CH4). The Jonathan Ross Show. Edinburgh or Bust (CH4) The Royal Variety Performance (ITV)

“He’s a very funny man with a ‘fantastic comedy mind, but someone who really ought to seek some sort of professional help”. - Eddie Izzard.

Matt Bragg
“Matt is a master of delivery, with timing that keeps you hanging on the edge and then the edge again. His dry humour and subtle anecdotes leaves the audience listening intently wanting more of the cool calm and collected comedian.”

The son of television warm up man Bobby Bragg, Matt has been performing stand up all over the country for the last 5 years. With a unique, low energy, deadpan style and meticulously crafted material he has been gaining acclaim from audiences, promoters and comedians alike. As well as performing at some of the largest clubs in the UK, supporting Harry Hill, Lloyd Griffith (Soccer AM) and Phoenix Night’s Clinton Baptiste on tour, he was also selected for Just The Tonic’s Big Value showcase at the Edinburgh Festival in 2019. This year he was nominated, and finished as the runner up, in the prestigious Leicester Mercury’s Comedian of the Year along with becoming a finalist and winner respectively in Manford’s New Act of The Year and Bury Met New Act of The Year.
